CCF is governed by an appointed Board of Trustees headed by Mr. L. G. Varadaraj - an industrialist and Mrs. Sashi Chandran is the Managing Trustee. Among the other Board members are industrialists, specialists and individuals concerned about the suffering humanity.

Transactional Analysis is a technique that helps understand and improve communication and relationships. Coimbatore Cancer Foundation has been recognised as a research institute by government of India and the main project for research is "TA in cancer counselling". At CCF TA is used as a tool, as a philosophy and is becoming a way of life. TA 1O1 is an orientation course on Transaction Analysis with an international Certification from ITAA. CCF had offered this course for about 10 years. Now the education and training division has come out with its full vigor to cater to the growing need for Transaction Analysis orientation and advanced training programmes.
