1954, India was a young new country, surging ahead with visions of creating a new world of prosperity, knowledge and peace. It was a country whose ambitions soared high and whose youth held great promise of growth. During this year The Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief started a School at Pappanaickenpalayam in the memory of their family member Sri. G.K.Govindaswamy(fondly known as Mani) and named it as Mani High School.

The Mani Higher secondary School has been able to set new trends in the field of education and all round development solely because of its willingness to update its infrastructure and facilities in tune with the latest trends in the world of education.

From its ultra modern auditorium, to its well equipped laboratory facilities, to its well ventilated and modern classrooms, every aspect of education at the Mani Higher Secondary School compares with some of the best age long Institutions in the country.

On the eve of the completion of fifty years of educational and social service, the school is celebrating its Golden Jubilee from 9th to 11th June 2005 at Nanipalkhivala Auditorium, Pappanaikkampalayam, Coimbatore.

The school is celebrating its Golden Jubilee for 3 days in a grand manner. First Day, the School is celebrating the Youth Festival where around 11 other schools are participating in the Cultural / Sports events. There is a Pattimandram organized on 9th. The second day being the School day and on the Third day the 11th June, His Excellency Mr.Surjit Singh Barnala, The Governor of Tamil Nadu will be the Chief Guest. The Post Master General is releasing the Postal Special Cover commemorating the School's Golden Jubilee. Besides inaugurating the School's Golden Jubilee Building, His Excellency is also presenting the Outstanding Alumni Awards and releasing a Golden Jubilee Souvenir.

A cultural show "Sri Venkatadri Vaiabaavam" a multi media dance drama by Krishnakumari Narendran of Abinaya Natyalaya, Chennai has also been arranged after the event. Around 2000 guests from management, teaching fraternity, alumni & the present students will participate in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
