BENGALI KHATTI MITHI CHANA DAL
Ingredients:
Ingredients: 
1) Chana dal :  300 gms
2) Mustard seed s :1/4 tsp
3) Fenugreek seeds :1/4 tsp 
4) Onion seeds:1/4 tsp
5) Ani seeds :1/4 tsp
6) Red chillies : 5 
7) Bay leaves : 2
8) Turmeric powder :1 tsp
9) Sugar : 1 tsp
10) Fresh coconut sliced into
11) 2 cms long pieces : 1/2 cup
12) Raisins : 2 tbsps
13) Oil
14) Salt to taste
Preparation :- 

Soak the dal for 4 hours in water. Pressure cook till soft. Add turmeric, salt and sugar. Keep aside. Heat oil. Drain and set aside. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek, aniseeds, broken red chillies, onion seeds, bay leaves, coconut chips and raisins.
